A shoulder dislocation is a shoulder injury which is characterized by the upper arm bone popping out of the socket of your shoulder blade. The shoulder joint is the most mobile among all the joints in the body, making it the most prone to dislocation. The dislocation of the shoulder joint can either be partial or complete depending on the injury. In a partial dislocation, the head of the upper arm is partially shifted out of the socket whereas in a complete dislocation, the head comes out of the...more

I had joint and probably tendon pain for 3 months (cannot grab things, everything hurts, sleeping on shoulder hurts, my muscles all gone, stiff in wrist and elbow, cannot run, walk, exercise as joints hurt) and at first thought it could be arthritis but I tested negative for rheumatoid factor and all and doctor said it wasn't autoimmune problem. If I am negative for rheumatoid arthritis, does that mean I don't have arthritis at all or I could have a different type of arthritis like osteoarthritis etc. Also, I was given arcoxia before test results that said was for joint pain and arthritis and it did made my joints feel better the day after consuming it, no knee, shoulder, wrist, elbow pain (maybe still a little but not as usual). If the arcoxia pills were effective then does that mean I have arthritis or tendonitis? Also they said could be because of stress and anxiety depression that I have unexplainable pains and I do feel a little stressed and anxious these days with depressive thoughts, so could be because my neurotransmitters are low but I am not sure and haven't gone to psychiatrist that doctor recommended cause I was too young for arthritis he said (19yo) so he suspected other things as my test results were also negative saying I am fine. Please, I need explanation before my body dysfunctions and falls apart and then doctors come and notice, I cannot image not being able to use my body.

You need to do a dynamic xray of ls spine (xray ls spine lat view- in full flexion and extension), to check for instability. You have to be put on a regime of pain management, exercise and physiotherapy- which is all that is required in over 90 percent patient. In case of failure of conservative management, you might need surgical intervention.

Get vitamin d checked and start with cervical isometric exercises and cold packs. Keep pain killer requirement to minimum, increase the exercises level as per pain tolerance and look at your posture.
