The symptoms you mentioned are of irreversible pulpitis. The treatment for it is rct (root canal treatment). No home remedies advised.

Reason of gum recession and loosing a tooth because of that is many fold
1. Heavy stains
2.heavy calculus (yellow brown band)
3.gum redness, swelling, bleeding

Hello lybrate-user reason of senstivity could be many reasons I would advice you to visit the dentist.
