I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
If the wound is clean and you have not had a tetanus booster in the last 10 years, it is recommended that you receive one. If the wound is dirty or tetanus-prone, then your doctor would likely recommend a tetanus booster if you have not had a tetanus booster shot within the last five years.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

The likelihood of tetanus is greatest following deep, dirty puncture wounds where there is little bleeding and an absence of oxygen. In this case no need of tet vac in my opinion.

If you took the tetanus vaccine, no need to take it again but if you took only preformed antibodies (anti tetanus serum), you should take a shot now.

Hey don't worry too much. Tetanus bacteria is present in soil/animal faeces etc. Clean surfaces/ hands don't harbor the bacteria. Moreover, it only spreads through cuts/ wounds. It can't penetrate intact skin. So you won't get tetanus that easily. Try to prevent yourself from washing hands repeatedly even if you feel they are dirty. You will gradually be able to curb the habit.

Cavernous transformation of the portal vein (also called portal cavernoma) occurs when the native portal vein is thrombosed and myriads of collateral channels develop in the porta hepatis to bypass the occlusion. The currently accepted theory is that it develops as a sequelae of portal vein thrombosis.

important method of preventing tetanus is cleaning out the wound as thoroughly as possible. The wound can be washed with clean water, and soap can be used to clean the area around the wound.
