Hello dear lybrate-user,
Warm welcome to Lybrate.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* There is around 3 - 4 weeks period time for complete recovery of the surgery as currently there will be
internal joining of structures going on. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.

Delaying operation for 9 months will not cause any problem ,but you will be suffering from pain (dysmenorrhea) and menorrhagia (increase bleeding) for 9 more months.
You can go for mirena insertion for the time being.
