Hello. After the first sitting, mostly they remove your infected tissue, gain access into the root, maybe even clean it and then place the temporary filling. At this stage the tooth tends to feel weaker. I would suggest you to get your treatment completed as soon as you get the chance!

Of course crown is needed. It may be metal crown or metal ceramic crown. In anterior we prefer all ceramic or metal ceramic crown. But in case of posterior it may be metal as fer patients choice.
