Root canal treatment relieves the tooth pain by removing the pulp which contains nerves & blood vessels. This tooth is more prone to fracture & is highly brittle

Hi Riz... it is because of the gums detachment... the infection may not have been treated properly etc....

You may try doing the following...'
massage your gums with a mixture of turmeric and Salt
use homoeopathic toothpaste Heklalava by Wheezal...
take a multivitamin tablet especially rich in Vitamin C...

You should go for a bridge work and should visit your dentist soon as after RCT teeth become more brittle and prone to fracture.

No its not a dangerous procedure. Its recommended to go for a root canal treatment when your tooth requires it. Otherwise it can cause pus to accumulate in your bone and gums surrounding the concerned tooth and cause swelling which can sometimes be dangerous to your health.

Though your pain has subsided by now but be sure sooner or later it will be troubling you with increased severity. RCT has to be done if you want to save your tooth otherwise after sometime it will go for removal. RCT is not painful in every case but if it is there you need not worry because it can be managed by anaesthetic injection or pain killer or both. Once rct completed you will be free from pain and can enjoy eating from concerned side.
