Yeah small stones can be easily removed. They will come out with urine. Drink at least twelve glasses of water daily
drink citrus juices, such as orange juice
eat a calcium-rich food at each meal, at least three times a day
limit your intake of animal protein
eat less salt, added sugar, and products containing high fructose corn syrup
avoid foods and drinks high in oxalates and phosphates
avoid eating or drinking anything which dehydrates you, such as alcohol.

It is not uncommon to have multiple problems. Such as in your case, if you have an irritable bowel, a gastroenterologist would address that. Vaginal pain may require a gynecology opinion. As for the stone disease, it is usually a lifestyle related disease and quite prone to recurrence. Hence you need to keep yourself well hydrated all life long to achieve a 24 hour urine output of atleast 2 litres. And get an ultrasound of the urinary system done every 6-12 monthly, to pick up any new stone aris...more

5 mm stone can pass out once you start medicine. But you can do rirs on both sides simultaneously. Cost depends on the hospital. In my hospital (kims trivandrum) it cost 1.3 lakhs. 12 mm stone can be broken using ESWL technique. Clearance rate of stone after ESWL is 90 %. Cost of ESWL procedure is only 25000. No admission required (opd procedure. For rirs success rate of stone breakage is 99%.

Hi my ultrasound scan report was impression: left kidney shows double moiety with moderate hydroureteronephrosis of upper moiety, secondary to a calculus of size ~ 1.1*0.4 cm in lower ureter, seen ~ 5 cm proximal to uv junction. Rest of visualized organs appear normal sonography. Now my urology doctor said we have to wait for 10 days because width 0.4 mm and one more thing stone shape is narrow, that seems to be like chalk piece. Now my medication is thiazide 25 mg one tab in morning for 10 days and urimax 0.4 mg 1 per night 10 days. Today I gave blood test urea and creatine and urine routine, waiting for report. Any chance of possible to stone pass away? How many days we have to wait? Now no pain in abdominal and back. Please read patiently and answer to my question. Please guide me without surgery (rirs and ursl). Thank you for your upcoming valuable answers.

See, there is definitely a possibility that the stone of 1.1 by 0.4 (elongated shape) will get expelled from you body spontaneously with the help of medicines. Take plenty of water along with medicines. The question is how long you can wait for it.in my opinion, it shouldn't be more that a month. Because, the stone will be exerting back pressure changes. So if it doesn't come out in a month, take help of the urologist.

L qbest us to remove this 19 mm stone either with pcnl or RIRS. You can wait for small stones to come out or they can be simultaneously removed along with pcnl or RIRS from both the kidneys.

Other way to take out the stone is to do RIRS once infection settle. There's no way to dissolve the stone.

Best way to remove it is RIRS. It is a form of surgery but does not involve any incision or stitch.

RIRS is a good choice. However U can carry on with Medical management. Check for hyperparathyroidism and uric acid level in blood.
