Seems presently you have a cute excarebation of ra. You might need a short course of nsaids but keep on continuing the medicines you are taking. Better to consult an orthopaedicians who will see your knee. And decide whether nsaids will suffice or you need to increase the dosage of dmards you are taking.

For ra treatment need video counsltation with ra quantative ,lft, kft,esr, crp blood test.

You can have both at the same time. But please keep in mind methotrexate is taken weekly and hcqs is taken daily.

You need taper wysolon otherwise initially it will help but later on patient will be steroid dependent and other medicine may be also less effective.

As it is, long term steroids aren't encouraged these days in rheumatoid arthritis. Better treatment options are available now. So I suggest to book a consultation with me & take proper treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
