I am from chennai. I'm going to gym for past 6 months trying to lose weight. Usually when I train my muscle I get soreness for 1 or 2 days and it cures in sleep. Now I got a bit high of muscle soreness in my left leg calve muscle, which I trained 2 days back. My right calve is sore but the condition of it seems to be fine. But the left calve as swollen a bit. I searched online and most of the sites lead to it being rhabdomyolysis. It seems rhabdo is life threatening and could severely affect the kidney and the heart. I am only a young college student and I am unable to explain this situation clearly to my parents. They are considering kidney and leg muscle are two separate things and I am confused by just a cramp. I am now genuinely confused on what to do. I want to consult a doctor but I am unable to do it in person. I am trying to stay highly hydrated for now. If I should seek medical attention whether a package of kidney function test is enough to check the toxin levels? As I searched online and it seems to be cheaper than specific test for rhabdomyolysis. If any doctors know about this issue please suggest me an advice. Please recommend me on tests or hospitals.

If they shows any abnormality then we can go for a specific test that you have mentioned. But if no abnormality is seen then I would suggest to have better food intake and stay hydrated take some out of rest so that your body can recover well. You can anytime consult digestion and we can also do some genetic testing that will ...more

Hi,
sudden increase of creatinin in blood may be due to
