in case of total retinal detachment chances of visual recovery are very less
if quint develops eye can be made to look straight by simple surgery.

Bleeding from the retina is usually secondary to some other disease like diabetes / retinitis / eale's disease etc. First and foremost the cause of the bleeding must be detected. Sometimes due to significant amount of vitreous hemorrhage it may not be possible to see the retina fully. So we wait for the blood to get abosrbed.
