This is the case with many patients as the changes in the cornea and the improvements in vision are immediate and can be noticed while the procedure is ongoing. Many patients have stated that they suddenly see improvements in their vision in the middle of the procedure when blurry things at a distance suddenly become clear. However, this is only part of the improvement as the vision tends to improve further a few days after the procedure as the eye recovers.

There are many hormonal changes that your body may go through during pregnancy, and thus it may end up affecting the shape of your cornea. Although times may vary from patient to patient, Lasik is usually a very quick and precise procedure. In most cases, the procedure is done within an hour or so. Usually, a single eye can take about 15 to 30 minutes although most of the time is taken in preparation itself. Once the procedure is done, the patients can go home quickly and can resume normal daily activities within a day.
