If your cavity is deep. Glass ionomer filling is good.
For mild cavity composite is good.
Both are tooth color fillings.

As far as tooth decay is concerned, filling are the permanent treatment to this condition. Taking pain killers or brushing twicw or thrice will not help. They will give you only temporary relief. Once tooth decay has occured its better to get filling done otherwise delaying it may worsen condition over a period of time which may lead to root canal treatment or surgery.

That depends on type of corrections made related to your teeth. In some cases you need to wear it for longer than 6 months. So please ask you orthodontist as he/ she would advise you best on that.

For front teeth it is better to go for full ceramic caps as metal would cause staining and also it refracts the light and the metal portion seems darker in light and it becomes easy to ascertain that it is a fake tooth. Ask your dentist about ultra translucent crowns. They’re slightly expensive but the best solution for front teeth.

Yes crown is must after rct for the longevity of tooth because tooth is brittle after rct and there is chances of tooth fracture its better you go for crowning.
