Recurrent pregnancy loss is termed as the occurrence of three or more miscarriages. Recently, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine has altered the definition and limited the number of miscarriages to two. After taking the high hormonal emergency pill one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then a new cycle starts.- new counting.
Presence of withdrawal bleeding means no pregnancy by sex prior to it.
If this does not happen as well as the period is missed then do a pregnancy test.(doubtful withdrawal bleeding should be put in this group)
