Just go for a detailed medical check up with a doctor as a preventive measure. The doctor would suggest fasting /PP/ HbA1c test to assess the situation and make a definite diagnosis. It's important to go for regular health check up and repeat the sugar levels (along with other important tests) to ensure that you do not miss out anything important.

Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
First and foremost thing required is to achieve a quick and reasonable control of his blood glucose. The levels mentioned are too high. So please initiate appropriate treatment first and bring the glucose under control. Then one can look at the diet. To suggest specific diet I need all the details like present diet, extent of physical activity, glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight and height. Thanks.
