The chances of human to human transmission are very less. There are no well documented cases except from organ/cornea transplant. However since rabies is 100% fatal, you should get yourself vaccinated.

No. You should take only tt injection by consulting your doctor and take proper care about scratch injury. It may not be necessary to get booster vaccination, if you have already taken full course of 5 injections. However we always advise you to watch the dog for 10 days from date of bite for any illness or disappearance of dog. If normal as before no vaccination. If any such mishap to be extra cautious, take two doses with one week gap between two doses.

Dear five doses (each 1 ml ampoule of 2.5 iu) rabies vaccine on days 0,3,7,14 and 30 days. It is given in low risk
in high risk patients five dosages + hrig (with in 7 days of starting the course of vaccination.

Actually the schedule is 0 3 7 14 and 28 which includes 5 doses
if it is a minor nail scratch you need not worry about it and just continue with your scheduled dose of arv
just wash it properly with soap and water and you need not worry about it if any other queries you can call or whatsapp me at mobile.
