No, but if it is category 3 bite then you should take rabies immunoglobulin in addition to your normal vaccine course.

No. No need to take vaccine again if a bite occurs within 3 months of immunization. Take the last dose that's all that is needed.

It was necessary to know 1. whether this is Post Exposure Vaccination meaning 5 dose vaccination for confirmed or suspected Rabies Dog bite. 2. Site of injury and Grade of Injury. 3. Whether Rabies Immunoglobulin was indicated / advised? If 'Yes' whether given? This will throw light how serious was incident of bite. The Rabies infection is caused when the secretions of animal are passed on to human being through open wound under the skin or into blood by injury like a bite.
