It was necessary to know 1. whether this is Post Exposure Vaccination meaning 5 dose vaccination for confirmed or suspected Rabies Dog bite. 2. Site of injury and Grade of Injury. 3. Whether Rabies Immunoglobulin was indicated / advised? If 'Yes' whether given? This will throw light how serious was incident of bite. The Rabies infection is caused when the secretions of animal are passed on to human being through open wound under the skin or into blood by injury like a bite. The animal here is suspected when animal which is confirmed with rabies, or animal is unwell, dies or disappears within 10 days or animal in streets not possible to trace bites or passes on secretions into open skin.
