When the underlying infection reaches the surface of your skin, the healthy cells die. This causes red and itchy plaque covered with white scales. It mostly occurs on the elbows, knees and scalp. Hi. Any medicine containing salicylic acid should only be taken after getting a prescription for it by a certified dermatologist. Avoid using the lotion for now and just use a ketoconazole shampoo for the time being 2-3 times every week. If there is still purging after couple weeks then get yourself checked by a dermatologist or seek an online consultation with us.

You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh, not from readymade
gels available in market) on your face. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take/scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your face skin. Wash with plain water after an hour.
