Asked for male, 64 years old from Mumbai

After prostate enlargement surgery, my sa reading was 8.27,so admitted joshi hospital pune, on 4/11/20, next day turp done by dr, anand joshi, hpe, acinar adenocarcinoma grade 1/gleason score3*2=6of 10, on 24/12/20 orchiectomy done by Dr. anand joshi, bone scan done on 25/12/20, no scan evidence of skeletal metastasis. From 26/12/20 on wards till today I am on calutide 50/mg/ day. On 15/4/2021 done sr. Creatine and prostate antigen test again result is 0.015/this is history. Can I continue calutide 50/mg for another 4 months, since due kovid 19 I can't come down for follow up. Dr.anand joshi advice mi to continue with calutide 50 dr, amit bhat was the oncologist. Please guide. My name is satish sathe. Age 64/roha raigad maharashtra.

Yes sure continue the medicine there is nothing to worry about it. Follow up 3-4 months is necessary.

I aged 72 years underwent laparoscopic radical prostatectomy on 23 jan 21 and the biopsy report shows gleason score 8 (3+5) in pca 4th stage. Administered inj pamorelin 22.5 ng on 10 mar and continuing tab caluran 50 one daily. The result of psa test after first 3 months was 0.02 which raised to 0.09 after 2nd 3 months now. Kindly let me know whether it is considered as psa doubling and attracts the norm biochemical recurrence and returning of cancer will require more treatment.

Yes you can add on homeopathy drugs, no harm
but you can not avoid surgery by adding that because surgery is last resort.

I am man of 72 years and diabetic since 1998. I have back pain and the flow of my urine was slow. Therefore following test were conducted. My blood report is urea- 30.8,creatinine- 1.11 and psa total -3.96.the sonography impression are mild hepatomegaly, marginal enlarge prostate with parenchymal changes, cystitis.pre void 275 ml and pvru 28 ml. Prostate volume is 28 cc.

I am a patient of bph enlarged prostate and am on silodal d 8 mg which is suiting me and there is improvement in symptoms. My question is how long can I continue with this without any harm, are there any precautions to be taken or side effects .i am 87 and take one capsule at night daily with washroom visits 3 or 4 per night. For that you need to show and discuss your sonography reports of prostate size and psa levels,
as such you can not shift over. D stands for dutesteride and its drug molecule with effects and side effects,
