Pilonidal Sinus can not be treated by oral medicines only. So usually surgery is advised to treat this problem. But surgery is also not a good choice for pilonidal sinus as the chances of recurrence after surgery are very high. However this problem can be completely treated by Graded Ksharsutra treatment. Best treatment for pilonidal sinus is flap advancement surgery.
In my experience of more than 100 surgeries there has been no recurrence. And there is no open wound so no dressings.
