Hello Lybrate user. After dinner, may be the temporary filling in the teeth is removed. Even if it's a part of teeth also. There will be no problem. Don't worry. There is no need to extract the teeth. But I advice you to do temporary filling again and wait and then you can do crown fixation. As rheumatoid arthritis causes deformity on finger joints so increase in pain is due to it, and I recommended to make you mother walk with the help of assistant device like walker, as much as she walks its better for her join otherwise it may cause deformity in joint. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meal. Hi as you know the diagnosis, you need to be seen by rheumatologist. As the medications needs regular reviews because of steroids. Better to keep regular follow ups. Rheumatoid arthritis is life time problem, unfortunately it needs patience and regular checkups. Vitamin d and calcium supplements need to take along with your medications.
