Since when r you having this? What r other symptoms that you r experiencing? By doing what like walking, exertion, eating or empty stomach- it increases or decreases in intensity. For how much time it remains? Is there stiffness also? Any breathlessness? Need details. In the meanwhile try these exercises to help relieve your pain url/shoulders/stretching-exercises-frozen-shoulder 1.Arm-across-chest stretch – hold your right hand out in front of you, keeping it near your waist. Reach your left hand behind your elbow, pulling your right arm to the left and across your chest. If you feel pain in your shoulder, lower your arm until the pain subsides. The goal is to be able to pull your right arm across your chest without feeling any pain. Hold for 30-60 seconds then relax and repeat with your left arm. Repeat 3-5 times. 2. Neck release – sit up straight then slowly bring your chin toward your chest until you feel the stretch in the back of your neck. Try leaning your head to the left to stretch your right shoulder or leaning your head to the right to stretch your left shoulder. Hold the stretches up to one minute in each direction, breathing deeply as you concentrate on relaxing. Repeat 3-5 times. To progress the stretch, elevate your arm as you pull it across your chest until it is the height of your shoulder. 3. Chest expansion – put an exercise band, rope, strap, or even a tie behind your back and grasp it with both hands. While holding the strap, draw your shoulder blades toward each other and gently lift your chin toward the ceiling. Breathe deeply for 10 to 15 seconds and release. Repeat 3-5 times. To progress the stretch, move your hands closer together on the strap. 4. Seated twist – sit straight up in a chair with your knees together. Twist your torso to the right, placing your left hand on the outside of your right thigh. Relax your shoulders as you look towards your right, gentling pushing on your right thigh. Breathe deeply for 10 to 15 seconds and release. Repeat with your left side. Repeat both sides 3-5 times. 5. The 90, 90 shoulder stretch – stand in a doorway, holding your arms up so your elbow is at a 90 degree angle and your arm forms a 90 degree angle to your body at the shoulder. Place each hand on one of the sides of the door frame, placing one foot forward as you stand up straight aligning your neck with your spine. Lean forward as you brace yourself against the door frame. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times. For this homeopathic treatment is very effective for more details you can consult me.

How long has the pain been happening. If its 1-2 day old with fever then it might be appendicitis. Is it’s fairly old then there might be other reasons. Contact me with proper history so that we can sort it out.

Hi. Sad to hear about your pain. After reading your complain it seems like you have injured or inflammation of your soulder muscles called supraspinatus. Which cause difficulty in lifting and bringing down your arm. Good thing is that it is curable with proper conservative treatment. Bad news is that it will take time to get heal from 3-6 months. I will suggest you to do pain free active exercises for your shoulder. You can google it for more details. Also you can do hot water fomenting and apply volini if more pain. For exact exercises and further guidance contact nearby physiotherapy clinic thanks.

Below are exercises that strengthen the lower back and help manage lower back pain: 1. Bridges—lie on the ground and bend the knees, placing the feet flat on the floor hip-width apart. Press the feet into the floor, keeping the arms by the sides. Raise the buttocks off the ground until the body forms a straight line from the shoulders to the knees. Squeeze the buttocks with the shoulders remaining on the floor. Lower the buttocks to the ground and rest for a few seconds.Repeat 15 times and then rest for 1 minute.Do 3 sets of 15 repetitions.2. Knee-to-chest stretches— lie on the back on the floor. Bend the knees, keeping both feet flat on the floor. Use both hands to pull one knee in toward the chest. Hold the knee against the chest for 5 seconds, keeping the abdominals tight and pressing the spine into the floor. Return to the starting position.Repeat with the opposite leg.Repeat with each leg 2–3 times twice a day. 3. Lower back rotational stretches—lie back on the floor with bent knees and feet flat on the ground. Keeping the shoulders firmly on the floor, gently roll both bent knees over to one side. Hold the position for 5–10 seconds. Return to the starting position. Gently roll the bent knees over to the opposite side, hold, and then return to the starting position. Repeat 2–3 times on each side twice a day. 4. Draw-in maneuvers— lie back on the floor with knees bent and feet flat, keeping the arms by the sides. Breathe in deeply. While breathing out, pull the bellybutton toward the spine, tightening the abdominal muscles and keeping the hips still. Hold the position for 5 seconds. Repeat 5 times. 5. Pelvic tilts— lie back on the floor with knees bent and feet flat, keeping the arms by the sides. Gently arch the lower back and push the stomach out. Hold for 5 seconds, then relax. Flatten the back and pull the bellybutton in toward the floor. Hold for 5 seconds, then relax. Increase the number of repetitions daily, building up to 30. 6. Lying lateral leg lifts— lie on one side with the legs together. Keep the lower leg slightly bent. Draw the bellybutton into the spine to engage the core muscles. Raise the top leg about 18 inches, keeping it straight and extended. Hold the position for 2 seconds. Repeat 10 times. Turn onto the other side of the body and repeat, lifting the other leg. Perform 3 sets on each side. 7. Cat stretches— get onto the hands and knees with the knees hip-width apart. Arch the back, pulling the bellybutton up toward the spine. Slowly relax the muscles and allow the abdomen to sag toward the floor. Return to the starting position. Repeat 3–5 times twice a day. 8. Supermans— lie face down on the ground and stretch both arms out in front of the body, keeping the legs stretched out and flat on the ground. Raise both the hands and feet, aiming to create a gap of about 6 inches between them and the floor. Try to pull in the bellybutton, lifting it off the floor to engage the core muscles. Keep the head straight and look at the floor to avoid neck injury. Stretch the hands and feet outward as far as possible. Hold the position for 2 seconds. Return to the starting position. Repeat 10 times. For this homeopathic treatment is very effective consult online with details.

Hello. I am 40 years old. A very active individual. A regular at the gym. I started working out at home when the location started last year. In november end I contracted the virus. Since after then I couldn't get myself back on track with my workouts. In march 2021 I joined the gym. I did light weight strength training along with 15 mins of cardio before and post workout. After 10 days my feet started aching. Not sure what caused it. Post covid and before I joined the gym I used to walk 10k steps everyday. And currently I can do only 6k a day. The area of pain is around the arch area. The pain isn't extreme but is constant. It moves vertically to the center of the foot to almost the entire upper toe area. Some times even the index finger gets a constant weird sensation on left corner of the toe nail. I had zerodol for 3 days twice a day to see if it subsides. But it didn't help. I just want to know if I need an x-ray done? Is it a nerve damage? I try massaging it at home using a massager but it's of no use. I don't want to visit a hospital given the present circumstances hence looking for some help here as I can't really figure out anything. Please advise what problem does my foot suffer from. And if the pain will subside on its own or I need medication or physiotherapy? And if it of very serious concern? Please help. Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hi sad to hear about your husband. Well as you mentioned pain is at night and is from knee and leg. Also he is having constant sitting job. Which both suggest problem might because of his bed posture and can because of his back. I will like to suggest him to do bhujang aasan twice daily for week and check whether it is making any difference to the pain. Also try to maintain proper posture during sitting at office. And avoid constant sitting instead take a break after 1-2 hours and just walk for 2-5 min and again get back to work. Also you can try hit water fomentation and volini if more pain. Try it for week if no improvemnt than constant your nearby physiotherapist for further examination. Thanks.

Cold compresses can help reduce swelling in the area. Cooling also helps to numb sharp pain. Apply an ice pack for up to 20 minutes, up to five times a day. Use a frozen gel pack, ice cubes in a plastic bag, or a bag of frozen peas. Wrap the cold pack in a soft towel. Do not apply a cold pack directly to skin. Heat therapyheat helps to relax tense muscles and soothe a stiff area. It can help with muscle pain and arthritis in the shoulder. Use a heated gel pack, heating pad or a hot water bottle.
