fungal infection in the mouth and around lips is very common (also known as oral thrush) in he middle aged population. It is not mostly cancerous and can be easily treated.
The signs may include white or yellow patches on the cheeks, around the lips and tongue, dryness, difficulty in swallowing or burning sensation and bad taste in mouth due to fungus.
