Yes you can take duoluton l as a contraceptive but I will suggest you take an alternative contraceptive pills which contains lesser amount of estrogen and third generation progesterone.
Duoluton l contains .05 mg of estrogen whereas newer contraceptive contain much lesser estrogen as well as third generation lipid friendly progesterone.

Best contraceptive for any women are pills and copper t or loop as it has maximum rate of protection. There are other methods like safe period or calendar method, coitus interruptus or withdrawal method but they are highly unreliable ans less effective.
