Hi there Excessive urination at night is known as nocturia. It can be a sign of underlying medical condition. Common causes of nocturia are urinary tract infection or bladder infection but can be caused by other conditions like diabetes, anxiety, bladder over activeness. Urinating at night, which interrupts sleep, is called nocturia. A common urological condition causing nocturia in men is an enlarged prostate or benign prostatic hyperplasia (bph). The enlarged prostate can close off the urethra, thus making the bladder contract harder to push out urine. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure proper treatment.
