its good to hear that you see the right & effective results of physiotherapy treatment.As you have well known about erb's palsy now.it takes time to strength up the weak muscle which have already partial paralized or total wasting of muscle. My advice is to continue physiotherapy untill you got successful results.

Hello! As per your issue. First clear your mind that lifting heavy weight is always a cause of back issue.
Sometimes what happen is gradually bones (here I mean for spine) getting degradation but they don't show any sign and symptoms.
But when the degeneration is set ,then they start showing symptoms! So.
First - get to know that is there are any previous minor issue in back.
Second - check whether pain is in back only or its moving down in one leg or both legs.
