Hi i'm completed 57 days of c section and tubectomy and i'm breast feeding mother. Im still bleeding doctor suggested me to take a depot provera injection for one time and two tablets 1.meprate and tranexa tablets for five days. After using this injection and tablets when my periods will come back. I use only one time depot provera injection. When my period will come.

Your periods may not come for 2-3 months since you are breastfeeding and injection also delays period. Can not tell for sure wen exactly periods will come.

I will not advise you to take inj. Depot provera as you are breast feeding. Try first with non hormal agents like trapic mf orally twice daily for a week. Your bleeding will stop soon.

Hi i'm completed 51 days of c section and tubectomy. Im breast feeding mother. Im still bleeding doctor suggested me to take a scan. Two days before I taken a scan in that my endometrial wall is 7 mm. Doctor suggested me to take 3types of tablets for five days. I.e1. Meprate.and 2 cipolex tz. And 3. Chromostat tablets. Im using these tablets for 3 days onwards but no use still i'm bleeding. Whats the reason why bleeding not stop?

I don't advise hormone treatment, when you are breast feeding the baby. You can use trapic mf tablets which will control bleeding.

You have to take meprate for atleast 3 weeks. Please take a personalised consultation before taking as these are hormonal pills. Wrong usage can be more harmful.

Hi i'm completed 47 days of c section and tubectomy. Im still bleeding not heavy but lightly on and off bleeding. Doctor suggested me to take ciplox tz tablet for five days two times a day to stop my bleeding. Im using this tablet from last four days but no use still i'm bleeding. Generally altered colored discharge after delivery is called lochia it remains for 6-8wks, if you have heavy bleeeding then consult your doctor.

Bleeding after c section may continue for 2 months. In my view you can wait for a week and see if your symptoms improve. If there is no fever or malaise, no problem in nursing then be patient. Wait for a week before taking any action.

wait for few days ,if despite taking meprate your bleeding does not stop then get an ultrasound lower abdomen done.to know the exact cause of bleeding
