It is a symptom of cervical spondylosis, you need to maintain proper posture of the neck.
Take electrotherapy for 10 days, later you will be suggested with neck strengthening exercises which you have to continue for atleast 1 month.

I am a 27 year old female who was play wrestling when I was thrown over the shoulder and hurt my neck. This happened earlier today. The pain started shortly after and has been getting worse as the day has progressed. Neck stiffness came in fast too (constant) and then added the sharp pain down to my shoulder. When trying to turn my head the sharp pain gets triggered also. My lower back pain developed later (not sure if related or not) I have had torn muscles in both lower back and neck from a car accident 7 years ago and I have torn my back muscles again from helping lifting heavy items without the proper technique and falling (in regards to previous history of them areas). I’ve tried ice pack, pain killers (started shortly after the pain started) hot shower, light exercise aka walking but nothing has helped. To note: when out on the walk my neck and back spasmed and I fell on my face but could’t move for 11 seconds (plus some time of falling and hitting the ground) luckily nice people were around 4 men helped me stand back up and I refused an ambulance as I did’t find it emergent and someone else may have actually needed them. I am healthy weight, 5 ft 7, and in general a healthy person however I do have ptsd and I have seizures (non epileptic). What do you advice? Thank you for reading.
