I am 27 year old male. Sometimes I have severe headache. I have been diagnosed with a arachnoid cyst. It measures 3.6 ×2.7 cm (AP×TD). Impression given in the report is fluid signal intensity is seen poster-lateral to left cerebellar hemisphere suggestive of arachnoid cyst. Doctor kindly suggest me what should I do?

Most of arachnoid cyst of small size, if having no compression on surrounding structures are just left alone without any intervention
Your headache may be due to certain other reason like migraine or something.

There are various causes of pain. Better Consult and take treatment.
Hematoma may not be the cause.

undergone proper rehab under Physiotherapist guidance? Kindly contact Physiotherapist for this. To reduce pain you can do icing 10 mins 2 to 3 times in a day. Also you can use knee hinge splint. And continue your knee exercises.

Surgery is justified if the meningioma increases rapidly in size or if the patient gets any neurological deficits for example limb weakness, abnormal mental status, refractory headaches, vomiting etc.

Usually brain tumors are cancerous. Sometimes they start in the brain. At other times, they can start from other body parts and spread to the brain. You need to find out which is the case here. Radiotherapy is also used in many cases.

lybrate-user this lump seems to be on your scalp as you can feel it. You can wait for a week if this doesn’t get ok then show a surgeon. These are sometimes small sebaceous cyst which doesn’t cause problem until it’s gets infected.
