No need to take blood thinner without consulting cardiologist or untill it needed.
Can you tell me your daily routine? Neck pain radiates to shoulder and then arm elbow, its a symptom of cervical spondylosis.
You need to maintain proper posture while study or work, apply hot pack twice a day this will help reduce pain. Check for your pillow if its too soft also will cause neck pain.
Just take an x-ray of cs and consult back with reports for proper treatment.

Regards, Lybrate user. The type of pillow used could be one of the contributing factors to neck pain. However, neck pain is caused by structural or functional changes in the neck bones or joints, muscles, or ligaments. One needs to understand that our body complains when the forces on the body go beyond its ability to compensate or adjust and ultimately lead to damage of tissue. When the neck hurts, it may need to be addressed so the structures causing the pain need to be managed to avoid worsen...more

Hi lybrate-user!
it seems that you have cervical spondylosis. There are certain things you should avoid. You should sleep in proper posture and don't be seated for long time. Avoid using smartphone for long time. You should regularly do neck exercises. Osteoporosis doesn't tend to cause neck pain itself, it's more related to back pain so getting treatment of osteoporosis for neck pain seems irrelevant. You should see a physiotherapist and and orthopedic doctor for this.

Hello lybrate-user, I understand your concerns. As a specialist in pain I would like to know more about the pain and shoulder movements as this history seems incomplete to comment on.
But usually, this kind of presentation is quite common in diabetics. Simple conditions like formation of a band of tense muscles or a trigger point (pain at one point) or even a radiculopathy (compression of a nerve bundle supplying the arm or leg). Just tablets won't do the trick sometimes unless the faulty bi...more

Its a symptom of cervical spondylosis, there might be disc changes which given compression to nerve, that its giving radiating pain.
