Gynaecomastia is excess profileration /growth of breast tissue in males. All males have breast tissue but there is excessive growth in some. There are medical disease including liver problem or thyroid problems and even cancer that cause gynaecomastia

Hello, gynecomastia is a very common problem in men. It's a aberration of normal development. Most of the times there is no underlying cause. You won't need any more investigation. Though some have taken oral tamoxifen the results are not good and tends to recur. Treatment is surgery where liposuction and gland excision is done.
