If the hole is little bigger, then we need to do a procedure called tympanoplasty.

This operation (myringoplasty) i. E reconstruction of ear drum is done under local anaesthesia. First get an audiometry (hearing test) done and send the report. Now a days this is done scarless with help of endoscopy so cosmetically also acceptable.
