Hello Dr. I am 19 years old I have myopia at the age 10 years my refractive power changing for every 6 months so now I am not able to see an object at least from 3metres clearly I frequently use mobile and laptop how can I control to maintain a constant power now my refractive power of left eye is 3.75 and the right one with 2.75 can you advise me to take necessary action and drops or capsules.

Age of my son is 8 years and he is wearing specs from last four years. Last year my son was diagnosed with keratoconus in right eye and posterior dystrophy in left eye. We have done pentacam test twice in six month but doctor has found no variation in report means it might be stabilize .but we need to change his glass every three month .his power is increasing by -0.5 in every check up our main concern is that if keratoconus is some how stabilize then why power is increasing. This time his power is - 4.75 in both eye.

Usually, the progression of keratoconus occurs in the age of 40-45 years and then it gets stabilized. In some cases, the progression may even occur even after the age of 50. Fit is believed that progression of keratoconus usually occurs during the first 15-20 years after the onset of the disease.
Once your keratoconus has been stabilized, contact lenses can be a great option to achieve your best corrected vision.

I am from surat Gujarat. Actually I suffered from an eye disease called keratoconus. About 1 year and 5 months ago I have undergone a c3r surgery. So my eyesight is so weak and the doctor told me to buy and use scare lenses of medium power and range. So I bought and using it but it is so irritating I am not satisfied with lens due to irritation. So my question is that - is there any alternative option to normal my eyesight without lenses like to perform lasik surgery or any other surgery in which I don't have to wear contact lenses. In future, there is any option to normal my eye by cornea or eye transplant if any?
