To clear your doubts get an ultrasound pelvis done to rule out any pathology and follow up with reports and if necessary we can take twelve hourly after clinical examination for five days for initiation of withdrawal bleeding.

Missed or late periods happen for many reasons other than pregnancy. Common causes can range from hormonal imbalances to serious medical conditions. There are also two times in a woman's life when it's totally normal for her period to be irregular: when it first begins, and when menopause starts.

PCOD is a disease where there is hormonal imbalance. Depending on your complaints, examination, reports and stage of life treatment differs and it also needs more time so get yourself treated with patience. Meet Gynecologist in whom you have trust as you will need to go for long time to him/her. Overweight is very common so in case you have that reduction of weight helps tremendously.

Is there any chance of pregnancy.
U need to do urine pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test. If no then don't worry. Whatever is your cycle days plus minus seven days is absolutely normal. Like in your case your cycle is of 28 days, so your periods can come between 21 days (28-7=21) to 35 days (28+7=35). This is considered normal.
