I have developed a sore inside my vaginal canal extending to my inner labia, closest to the area between my anus and vaginal opening. I am in my early twenties and have not had any sexual intercourse for a while, so know it cannot be an std. The sore seems to be getting worse, and worry it may be related to my Merana implant that was inserted around early June or late May of 2012. Could this have to do with the Marana slipping? Or perhaps something else? Most importantly, would I be able to remedy this at home myself with a douche or other treatments or must I see a doctor?

U hv to see a gynaec for examination to know the nature of the sore. It cannot be due to mirena. It has to be some kind of infection

Your penis has not been adjusted to sensations without foreskin after the surgery, it is the main reason that you are unable to perform sex. Copper T insertion has no relation to the acne on the face. Acne are due to change in hormones. Maybe if you had a miscarriage or delivery then tat could be the reason for hormonal imbalance and hence acne.

Hello Sir/Ma’am ma’am my mother is a blood pressure patient. Since 8 years she is eating blood pressure medicine. Last month doctor changed her medicine to telma 40 her heartbeat and blood pressure were normal for some days. From around one week her blood pressure is 102/67–110/70 with an elevated heartbeat of 94 in the evening. Her cholesterol tests were done 2 weeks ago, however the reports were normal but hdl cholesterol was 35.5. Her haemoglobin was: 13.14 I would also like to add that she is also a patient of irregular periods and has also undergone mirena insertion. From 21st of march till present date she is having the same problem. Is a resting heartbeat of 94 good for her. What is the reason behind this increase in her heartbeat. Please help me out. I will be very thankful.

I have underwent a polyp removal surgery on 18 nov 19 (one month ago from today). As per usg report I have a small fibroid in the uterus and an endometrial polyp. The biopsy report is normal. However, the bleeding stops only for two days after the surgery and thereafter it's bleeding continuously. My doctor prescribed me tranetranexamix acid and mefemefenamic acid and medroxyprogesterone medicines for five days. But the bleeding not stops completely. Presently it seems that I am undergoing periods. My doctor is now advising for mirena inserted. What to do now. She is saying that as it was endometrial polyp hence it is not getting recovered. Please suggest best treatment. I don't want to go for another surgery, are there any medicine treatment available?

Hi, mirena is an intrauterine device (iud) inserted in the uterus. It is not a surgery. It will be inserted by a gynecologist. It can be kept in the uterus for 5 years. Helps in reducing heavy bleeding and also in preventing pregnancy. What about biopsy report? Is it normal?
