Hi,
Meftalspas is an antispasmodic whose action remains for 6-8hours in the body. It just gives symptomatic relief. Good Ayurvedic treatment is available for this, which has to be taken for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles. If interested, please consult me in privately.

Yes, it is normal to have cramps during ovulation (12 to 19th day) bloody discharge. The cramps happen as part of hormonal changes and the breakage of ovum During your menstrual period, your uterus contracts to help expel its lining. Hormonelike substances (prostaglandins) involved in pain and inflammation trigger the uterine muscle contractions. Higher levels of prostaglandins are associated with more-severe menstrual cramps

Do not worry but better use protection next time. Relax. If you bleed more or develop more cramps, better consult a Gynecologist for an examination.
