Dear lybrate-user, as we need to avoid drugs during pregnancy, try to change your feeding pattern. Avoid lot of spicy, citrus food, milk and fruits. Take small frequent normal diet. You can take antacids if burning sensation occurs. However if symptoms are really bothering you then consult Gastroenterologist.

no laxatives as there's a risk of miscarriage
take banana plus food, as much as you can eat, it's a natural laxative and complete food.
no heavy solids
no normal meals till system is clean
drink plenty of warm water with honey and juice of lemon or
green light tea
or diluted milk
no cold items though curd at room temperature is good
don't overload the foodpipe
just eat for the sake of nourishment and
to cleanse the food pipe

if the discharge is without itching then there is nothing to worry about,but she should take enough fluids like coconut water, fresh fruits juices milk etc in her diet so as to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance, apart from that she should also maintain local hygeine to prevent any kind of infection.
