Smoking even one cigarette is hazardous for the heart. Five is bad and chain smoking is worst. Smoke not only contain tar but about 100 chemicals and most of them are bad. Heart attack with instant death is the most dreaded impact. Quit it completely and instantly. Start chewing gum and cardamom whenever you get a feeling of smoking. In just 3-4 weeks, you would have quit smoking. Eat fresh fruits, drink 3 litres of water, a normal home made food.

Marijuana itself has no significant effect on lungs but it is smoked with tobacco which has it's own repercussions. Otherwise, marijuana affects neurochemicals and affects thinking and perception and can lead to mood disturbance, anxiety, obsessions and even psychosis. The best things I can advise you is quit smoking at the earliest. There is nothing to get your lungs purified after smoking. In the long run will harm you.

Dear, your body is already in the process of repairing your lungs. To supplement the repair process you can exercise well, drink enough water and fruit juices, eat nutritious diet etc. Over and above, you should never smoke again. Take care.

yes definately by doing breathing exercises like pranayam and yogas you can increase your lung capacity.. but nt the damaged part of your lung..but its good that you have ceased to smoke..but have a strong will nvr to smoke again in future ..and eat healthy food and milk fruits and plenty of water...
