The best way is to abstain from smoking, and then engage in pranayam, yoga and meditation. Also you should drink atlas 4-5 lit of water daily to keep yourself well hydrated.

Dear , I felt happy to hear that you left smoking. God bless you. You have smoked just for 2 years. Your lungs have the capacity to repair itself. On an average it takes 6 months to one year for your lungs to repair itself. The best method is to do lung age test. You may consult nearest physician to do this. Take care.
