High blood pressure is caused due to many reasons. Unhealthy lifestyle choices as well as various health conditions may lead to high blood pressure. Few causes include- thyroid, lack of sleep or sleep apnea, consuming illegal drugs such as amphetamines and cocaine, taking medicines for cold, cough, painkillers, contraceptive pills and a few others, and congenital heart defects caused due to problems in blood vessels.

Bp varies with age and stress. So if you have symptoms of hypertension thwn I can explain to you. Normal bp varies from 120-140 /80-90 .but single reqding of the bp can not decide that you have bp.

No it is not normal.
First check cbc & consult with doctor if they say based on report then take her to nearest govt hospital or private hospital if you can afford.
