General exercises: a range of motion and stretching exercises can help combat the inevitable inward movement of the limbs as muscles and tendons shorten. Limbs tend to become fixed in position, and these types of activities can help keep them mobile for longer. Standard low-impact aerobic exercises such as walking and swimming can also help slow the disease’s progression. Breathing assistance: as the muscles used for breathing become weaker, it may be necessary to use devices to help improve oxygen delivery through the night. In the most severe cases, a patient may need to use a ventilator to breathe on their behalf. Mobility aids: canes, wheelchairs, and walkers can help the person stay mobile. Braces: these keep muscles and tendons stretched and help slow their shortening. They also give added support to the user when moving.

What is the treatment muscular dystrophy. How to control this muscular dystrophy. Please help me sir.
Hello, Muscular dystrophy is a group of disorders characterized by a progressive loss of muscle mass and consequent loss of strength. The most common form of muscular dystrophy - Duchenne muscular dystrophy - typically affects young boys, but other variations can strike in adulthood.Currently, there is no cure for muscular dystrophy, but certain physical and medical treatments can improve symptoms and slow the disease's progression. I suggest to do ganeral light exercises to maintain strength and Range but not get overtired and avoide weights and resistive for exercises as theses kind of exercises will increase muscle breakdown and result in increase weakness. By doing correct exercises we can refuse the progress and effect of disease. Do let me know if you need any further help.

It’s overwhelming to learn that your child has dmd. Remember that the disease doesn’t mean he can’t go to school, play sports, and have fun with friends. If you stick with his treatment plan and know what works for your child, you can help him live an active life. •stand and walk as much as possible. Being upright will keep your child’s bones strong and his spine straight. Braces or standing walkers can make it easier for him to stand and get around. •eat right. There's no special diet for children with dmd, but healthy foods can prevent weight problems or help with constipation. Work with a dietitian to make sure your child eats the right balance of nutrients and calories each day. You may need to see a specialist if your child has trouble swallowing. •stay active. Exercise and stretches can keep your child’s muscles and joints limber and help him feel better. A physical therapist can teach him how to exercise safely without overworking. •find support. Other families living with dmd can be great resources for advice and understanding about life with the disease. Find a local support group or explore online discussion boards. It may also help you to talk about your feelings with a psychologist or counselor.

Cupping therapy is fine, but, chiropractic is tricky. If a joint has muscle weakness, better avoid chiropractic.

There is no medication as such for DMD in any system. As said Physiotherapy will help to prevent contractures worsening of the condition. Please register in the Muscular Dystrophy society as they will help to keep you updated on any newer form of therapy.
