Lichen planus is a auto immune disorder which means that our own anti body will start to attack our own body cell, faliure to recognise the foreign body and our own body cell.
Even it can be due to poor life style or frequent exposure to any kind of chemicals with or without knowledge or any allergen.
Even after the disease like hepatitis it will occur because liver is damaged and metabolism is changed abruptly.
It is not a contagious disease and will not spread to other.

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner.
1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night.
By doing above thing you will get good result.

A) Take 30 ml of khadirarishta before meals,
B) take 1 tsf of haridra khand after meals,
C) take 1 tablet of gandharwa-haritaki vati at night before sleep…do all these things for 15 days it gives you good result…THANKS.

Its an auto immune disease and hence we can control it but not cure it fully and Avoid any triggering factor, take folic acid regularly, eat a healthy diet, always be stress free, exercise regularly.

U need to have local application gel in mouth and if its on your gums as well, you need tray to keep medicine in its contact. Along with this, you may require systemic (oral) drug as well. And as it is autoimmune condition, it may not heal fast / completely but you can have definite relief from burning or other problem.

Hi! Lichen planus pigmentosus is a very stubborn condition and the darkening it leaves behind is equally stubborn. Rule out a thyroid problem. You could use melaglow cream or kojivit gel one pea size drop for affected area at night for 2 months. Please use sunscreen like Sunban or photostable 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2-3 hours. Strict sun protection is of utmost importance in preventing further pigmentation.
