To get good sound sleep. Stick to a time sechdule of waking and sleeping and follow it religiously, your sleeping area should be noise free, do not use mobiles and laptops during sleeping time, abstain from drinking alchohol or smoking. Eat food 2 hr before your sleeping time. Tale a 10 min walk and a glass of warm milk before sleeping, avoid heavy meals at night.
