The chances of human to human transmission are very less. There are no well documented cases except from organ/cornea transplant. However since rabies is 100% fatal, you should get yourself vaccinated.

Most likely your edema and ascites are due to protein deficiency, so unless protein is replenished, you may continue to have issues. Speak to your doctor about oral protein supplements, to see if that is a feasible option for you. You may also consult with a palliative care institution, which may help you get the injections or supplements for free or at subsidized rates. Also, you can get in touch with distributors directly who can get you heavy discounts on the products.

It will be better if you avoid completely. But even if you loose your discipline you should eat a very minimal amount, that too once or twice a month.
For strength you can do some physical exercise and eat nutrient rich foods like chicken and eggs or paneer, tofu etc if you are veg. You should also take few pieces of dry fruits daily for energy.

No. You should take only tt injection by consulting your doctor and take proper care about scratch injury. It may not be necessary to get booster vaccination, if you have already taken full course of 5 injections. However we always advise you to watch the dog for 10 days from date of bite for any illness or disappearance of dog. If normal as before no vaccination. If any such mishap to be extra cautious, take two doses with one week gap between two doses.

Take the last dose as soon as possible.
If you know the dog, observe it (if it's okay or sick or dead)
