If you had a first normal delivery, I do not see why you can not have a repeat normal delivery. There are very few causes for a caesarean operation for the second pregnancy when the first one was normal. You continue your normal visits to your gynec as well as your ultrasound examination. I am sure you wil have a normal delivery.

Dear doctor, I am 35 years old and my wife is 29 years old. We got married 2 years ago. My wife got pregnant last year. During her pregnancy she had hyperemesis and other than she was alright. Usg findings were all normal. 1 week after taking the 20 week scan (which was perfectly ok) my wife had spotting following which we took another scan as per doctors advice. It showed that her amniotic fluid index was 17 and otherwise everything including our baby was normal. Following this she was on bed rest and she had blood stained discharge per vaginum. Exactly one week later she had labor pain and was taken to labor. There the scan showed an amniotic fluid index 27 but baby was perfectly ok. She expelled baby on same day which could not survive as it was only 22 weeks. Chromosomal studies showed the baby had no chromosomal anomalies. My wife had no infections during pregnancy and her rbs was normal (82) when checked it earlier during pregnancy and it was 165 when she was in the labor room. Her mother and maternal grandparents have history of diabetes. Mellitus. She is a doctor and had to go through much workload and stress during her pregnancy. What is the reason for polyhydramnios in her case? what should we do to avoid this in her next pregnancy and make it safe?

Do slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning take proper balanced diet. Avoid garlic and red chilly, non veg and eggs. Keep your weight as compared to your height as more weight can cause pregnancy complications.

Whether induction of labour will work or not depemds on whats called bishop's score. Your gynaecologist can make this assessment after examining your wife. If the bishops score is greater than 7 or 8 on assessment then there is a higher chance that induction of labour will work. However not guaranteed. Chances of a vaginal delivery is always better if a pregnant woman goesinto labour herself.

Sit on an upright bench, like one you'd use for a shoulder press. Holding a dumbbell in your right hand, place your left hand under your left butt cheek and grab the side of the seat. Let your right hand hang down straight by your side and pull your shoulder blades back and together. Now raise your right shoulder up towards your ear-raise it straight up instead of rolling yourshoulder. Hold for a beat at the top, and then return to the start position. Complete a set of 10, and repeat on the othe...more

Hi lybrate user ,this might be due to growing pain , Many children have pains in their legs without any obvious cause and these are often called growing pains. Even though the child can be in a lot of pain, no damage is happening to the child's bones or muscles, and growing pains can respond to simple treatments like physiotherapy .

It looks like you have vitamin d deficiency and anaemia. You need to improve the tone of the muscles in a rhythmical manner. If you do that with proper diet restriction nothing will happen to you. Shin pain after walking or running and minor pain in the calf muscles while walking is due to the low iron in the body. You need to take iron tablets or you can consume good diet for you to feel better.
