Creatinine level is on borderline high so not to worry that much. After 10 or 12 days your father can retest the creatinine till that have some diet management like if he is nonvegeterian avoid it specially red meat, have more fibrous diet, less protein diet.

if you are having breathing difficulty, check with you nephrologist whether dialysis can be done, also you need some changes in your medications to avoid this breathing difficulty which should be done by your nephrologist.

As you have already mentioned you are having only one kidney so i just want to let you know sir increase in size of your another kidney could be a part of compansatory mechanism because your single kidney is doing overwork than its capacity so it is obvious to get increase in size, if you are not facing any other problematic symptoms like pain or any sensation or any urine related issuesthen this is not a big deal just stay relaxed and dont get stressed unneccessarly.
