All lft markers are normal except bilirubin 1.68 and rbc is 5.57 million. And I have anxiety issues too. I was on shilajit and ashawganda from last 6 month. My physician told me that all this is withdrawal of these ayurvedic drugs. On usg mild hepatosplenomegaly seen.

No such drugs or medicines are currently recommended for treatment of jaundice or to decrease bilirubin levels. Kindly have a proper evaluation for the cause of your jaundice by a doctor before taking any medicine for reducing bilirubin.

Hello sir, myself puneet chauhan. I'm 29 year old. My total bilirubin level is almost high approx 1.6 to 2.2 (direct bilirubin 0.28 -0.38) from last 6 month and sgpt also high approx 55 to 70. Sgot 35 and alkaline phosphate 114 and absolute lymphocyte count is high 3.11,and mean platelet volume is also high 15.7 and platelet count is going on lower side 156 .and other parameter is almost in maintain level. Sir I feel very weakness and pain in leg and etching eyes with redness and abdomen pain also. I have taken ayurvedic allopathic and homeopathy treatment (like chelodonium, but not significant. After 6 month my situation is same as before. I think my disease is not jaundice. It is a bacterial or viral infection. Please suggest and give me prescription.

Hello doctor. I am seeking consultation for my cousin .as per the present report he has high triglycerides (348 mg/dl, total cholesterol (274 mg/dl, ldl (155. 4 mg/dl, chol: hdl ratio (5.59),vldl cholesterol (69. 6 mg/dl), 6 month before report said risk factor of coronary heart disease. Hi jaydeep , can I know what is the blood sugar of your cousin ? does he have diabetes ? If so he needs to be treated for both. He has high TGL which is bad for heart as you rightly said. Considering his weight he needs treatment inform of both weight reduction and some tablets for Lipid control. If ok you can consult me in private .

I have done 2 liver tests in the interval of 2 months.in the first lft my direct bilirubin was 0.35,allowed value was 0.2 and after 2 months direct bilirubin changed to 0.4 where allowed value was 0.6.all other value of sgpt that were mildly elevated comes back to normal, but there is sometimes problem of pale stool and I have 3 bowel movements per day and appetite is good. I am 21 years old having weight 48 kg. Can I have fatty liver or something else.

Please check usg abdomen especially liver and cbd
blood serum alkaline phosphatase to rule out any obstruction
as pale stool means bile is not mixing properly.
You can consult gastrologist also.
