Most probably you have rheumatoid arthritis which cannot be fully cured. It needs periodic evaluation and medications to be continued to avoid further complications. Exercises,diet control of your underlying conditions are. Very important. Have a check into your uric acid levels also. Have a routine blood test -hb, esr,platelets, creatinine,lft, uric acid and ra factor.

Regards Lybrate user. Osteoarthritis refers to degenerative changes in the joint. If there had been ligament tear, the muscles surrounding the joints may overwork or work differently leading to excess pressure on the joint, leading to what is termed as secondary osteoarthritis. Regards Lybrate user. I empathize your concern. One needs to understand about osteoarthritis to better be able to manage the disorder. Osteoarthritis refers to degeneration or wear and tear of the joint's cartilage (cushion system that is present over the bone). One needs to remember that this disorder, does not occur in few days. your symptoms are not related to any deficiency of vitamins or any tablets.
Rheumatoid arthritis does not affect the fingers soon.
Ideally some pictures of fingers and thumb would have given more information.

Below are exercises that strengthen the lower back and help manage lower back pain:
1. Bridges—lie on the ground and bend the knees, placing the feet flat on the floor hip-width apart.
Press the feet into the floor, keeping the arms by the sides.
Raise the buttocks off the ground until the body forms a straight line from the shoulders to the knees.
