at age 17, it is very common to sleep more than adults. However, if you are feeling energy less, it could be you are not going out much in sunlight. Seasonal depression, weakness is a common phenomenon in indian monsoon weather. Cloudy, rainy weather makes us lazy and makes digestion weaker. Dear user,
here is my advice to your grandmother.
Please increase direct sunlight exposure.
Feed her easy to digest food such as idli, potatoes, banana, mosambi. Give her warm glass of water with ors mixed in the morning. Make walking everyday habit.
Use hot gel bottle and apply on pain areas, it will increase blood circulation and give her relief.
Give her pudin hara capsule once daily for digestion.

Please get her tested for diabetes. Avoid dry fruits and nuts as they contain phytic acid, which are antinutrients, thereby depleting calcium reserves and causing weakness. Eat foods rich in fat soluble vitamins. Add ghee regularly. If non vegetarian, consume fish.
Get 8 hours of sleep consistently.
Get sunlight exposure everyday.
Eat warm cooked foods, avoid raw food and salads.
