Are there any other symptoms like pain during eating/inability to eat? It not, just add a little walk or light execises like yoga to her daily routine. Take small and frequent meals. Don't delay dinner till late night and don't lie down on the bed immediately after food. While lying on bed, keep head raised with one or two pillows. Take some otc antacids. Pucef is an antibiotic which disrupted the good bacteria in your intestine. Intake of curd or yoghurt will help you. Also there are some medications which can help in improving the symptoms. It is advisable to have a consult to determine the exact cause and get treated for the same.

The back pain might be due to long working hours. As you said you are facing digestion issues, please drink plenty of water at least 10-12 glass per day. Eat high fibre diet. Exercise at least 5 times a week. Take small meals every 3 hours, donât starve.

Get your thyroid profile, cbc, blood sugar fasting checked from some lab.
