A person can ease the symptoms of cervical pain/spondylosis with a few simple neck exercises.
1. Neck stretch
keep your body straight.
Push your chin forward in a way that stretches the throat.
Softly tense the neck muscles.
Hold this for 5 seconds.
Return your head to its center position.
Push your head back with the chin held high, and hold for 5 seconds.
Carry out 5 repetitions.
2. Neck tilt

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. As I understand you are on treatment for hypothyroidism (developed after covid infection), plus for myasthenia. Since no specific details are given like t3, t4 & tsh levels, anti tpo antibodies, serum electrolyte levels (which need to be tested), it is difficult to give any opinion or suggestions. It is better you consult a local physician/endocrinologist so that necessary investigations are done and proper medications are decid...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Madam, I have seen the details mentioned. What you have given is very general information, based on which there is no way to decide what is the actual situation. I need to know your current T3, T4 & TSH levels as well as the same levels when you were diagnosed to have hypothyroidism. In case of hypothyroidism heart rate is usually slower than normal. There is no increased heart rate at all. Also let me know why did you stop the medication? Had you checked the ...more

Dear lybrate-user,
hypothyroidism can lead to hairfall. However additional factors like water quality, nutrition and stress also affect your hair.
Your t3& t4 levels should also be tested along with tsh.
Would need discussion for management of hairfall.
You may consult me via Lybrate app.

Age? 1. Do saline gargles daily.

Hello, thanks for the query.
Madam you have mentioned about having hypothyroidism and taking the treatment. But there is no mention of current or very recent tsh and t4 levels. Because if you are thinking of having a baby, then it is essential to maintain tsh around 2 mu/l, before conception and during the first 3 months. Since there is no mention of that information, it is difficult to comment. If there is any doubt about having conception, get a pregnancy test done and if need be consult y...more

The vitamin e in flaxseed oil helps to treat hair loss and stimulate new hair growth. Lignans act as strong antioxidants which can help in the regrowth of healthier and stronger hair. Topical application of flaxseed oil prevents flaking and nourishes the scalp from within, providing relief from dandruff.

Raised hb could be due to a lot of causes like lung disease, liver disease, polycythemia, renal issues, smoking etc. When the hb increases blood becomes more thick and the flow is slowed down which could result in stroke, eye problems, raised bp etc. Please consult a physician or hematologist.
